Denmark triples development cooperation with Pakistan – and is one of the first to pledge to Multi Donor Trust Fund
Denmark’s Minister for Development Cooperation Ulla Tørnæs has decided to increase Danish development assistance to Pakistan from USD 8 million to USD 28 million in the period 2010-2012.

Denmark is also one of the first nations to pledge to the new Multi Donor Trust Fund implemented by the government of Pakistan (November 25, 2009)

Additional Danish Humanitarian Assistance to Pakistan
The Danish Minister for Development has granted 10 million Danish kroner in humanitarian assistance to internally displaced people in Pakistan. The grant will be channeled through UN organisations and/or Danish non-governmental organisations. (June 9, 2009)

Danish Humanitarian Assistance to Pakistan
The Danish Minister for Development Cooperation Ulla Tørnæs has decided to grant 5 mill. Danish Crowns to UNHCR’s work with internally displaced people in Pakistan due to the worsening humanitarian situation in the North-Western part of Pakistan. (May 13, 2009)
